Producing Videos
When you are done editing your photos and videos, and creating slideshows and video movies, use CyberLink MediaShow to output your new media into a variety of available formats. You can select from the available file formats, or create your own custom video profile.
To output your video as an MPEG-4 (H.264), MPEG-2 or WMV file, do this:
- Select the preferred output format by clicking on the corresponding button.
- Select the preferred resolution and aspect ratio (4:3 or 16:9) for the file from the drop-down menu.
- Enter a name for the converted file.
- If you are converting your file to an MPEG-4 (H.264) or MPEG-2 file, select the format for the video’s audio from the Audio format drop-down menu.
- If required, click on to select a different output folder for the produced file.
- If your computer supports CUDA/ATI Stream technology, select Enable CUDA/ATI Stream to maximize performance to reduce the time it takes to create your video file.
- Click OK to start the output.
To output your video to format with a custom profile, do this:
- Click on and then click on New to open the Custom window.
- Enter a Profile name for the custom profile in the field provided.
- Select the file format for the converted file from the Format drop-down menu.
- If applicable, select the preferred resolution and aspect ratio (4:3 or 16:9) for the file from the Resolution drop-down menu.
- If applicable, select the video’s Bitrate or quality from the drop-down menu.
- If applicable, select the audio compression you want applied to the video’s audio from the Format drop-down menu.
- If applicable, select the audio compression rate or quality of the video’s audio from the Bitrate drop-down menu.
- Click OK to return to the Convert window.
- Enter a name for the converted file.
- If required, click on to select a different output folder for the converted file.
- If your computer supports CUDA/ATI Stream technology, select Enable CUDA/ATI Stream to maximize performance to reduce the time it takes to create your video file.
- Click OK to start the output.
